Abolitionist Sanctuary National Sunday Service

On Sunday, April 13, 2025, during Abolition April Awareness month, we commemorate Palm Sunday.

We invite churches across the country to gather in worship for our National Abolition Sanctuary Sunday Service to dedicate their worship service to the call for liberation and justice. This powerful observance is part of our national Freedom Futures Weekend, an opportunity for faith communities to stand together in the sacred work of repairing harms, restoring relationships, and rebuilding a just society—one where all can flourish beyond punishment, policing, and prisons.

These are critical times that call for our collective response. Join Abolitionist Sanctuary with palms for a prophetic praise and protest as we proclaim, “Hosanna in the Highest!”

Together we can advance a faith-based abolitionist movement.
